Vegetable Planting Calender

S & J Nursery’s Vegetable Planting Guide for Northeast Florida

Keep in mind that these are outdoor planting dates, seeds can be started indoors and vegetable plants set out into the garden on the following schedule, or vegetable seeds and transplants may be planted directly into the soil on the following calendar schedule.

* This is a compilation of many garden experts and author’s opinions of what can be planted at what time in the North Florida Area. I have found that when it comes to gardening, if you ask 10 people you just might get 10 different answers. It took me a while to do, but I think its worth it to have all their knowledge combined to one space! I have color coded blue the planting months that are generally accepted by all as appropriate for our area. Other colors are thought appropriate by some and not others.
