Harvest times for Freeze tolerant avocado Varieties for Northeast Florida Landscapes, Extending the Harvest
This chart is an amalgamation of information collected from different sites and authors, each contributor got one vote, each additional vote added to the color depth for the harvest month. The darker the color indicated for a particular month equals more people saying they harvest during that time period in Florida. This chart is for varieties currently commercially being grown and sold for purchase through nurseries that you should be able to locate with some degree of effort. There is also a list in a Florida Avocado group on Facebook being compiled that currently has hundreds and hundreds of Avocado varieties listed that are considered cold hardy! Finding scions for grafting of these varieties to an existing tree of your own may be the option to obtaining the more rare non commercially available selections not listed above.
